Refund Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all event registrations, performer bookings, and ticket purchases made for events organised by The Soiree House
By registering for or purchasing a ticket to any of our events, you agree to this policy.
1. GENERAL NO-REFUND POLICY
1.1 All event registrations, performer bookings, and ticket purchases are final and non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in Section 3 of this policy.
1.2 Refunds will not be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
•Personal schedule conflicts
•Professional or academic commitments
•Medical situations
•Travel delays or transportation issues
•Change of mind
•Late arrival or no-show
1.3 Failure to attend an event for any reason will be treated as a forfeited booking, and no credit or refund will be provided.
2. NON-TRANSFERABILITY
2.1 Registrations and tickets are valid only for the specific event date and time for which they were purchased.
2.2 Registrations, performer slots, and tickets:
•Cannot be transferred to another person
•Cannot be moved to a future event
•Cannot be converted into credit for later use
Exceptions may be made only at the sole discretion of the Organiser in special operational circumstances.
3. EVENT CANCELLATION OR MAJOR CHANGES
3.1 In the rare event that The Soiree House cancels an event, affected participants will be notified using the contact details provided at registration.
3.2 If an event is cancelled by the Organiser (and not due to participant misconduct), we may, at our discretion:
•Offer a full or partial refund, or
•Offer a transfer of registration to a rescheduled date or future event
3.3 If an event is rescheduled, your ticket or registration will typically remain valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, the Organiser may decide, at its discretion, whether a refund or credit will be provided.
3.4 The Organiser is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, or personal expenses.
4. PERFORMER CANCELLATIONS
4.1 If a performer cancels their slot or fails to attend:
•Their registration fee will not be refunded
•The performance opportunity will be considered forfeited
4.2 Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may affect eligibility for future events.
5. REMOVAL FROM EVENT
5.1 Any attendee or performer removed from the event due to violation of:
•The Terms & Conditions
•The Code of Conduct
•Venue rules
will not be eligible for any refund.
6. THIRD-PARTY TICKETING & PAYMENT PROVIDERS
6.1 If tickets or registrations are processed through third-party platforms (such as payment gateways or ticketing websites), their terms and service fees may also apply.
6.2 The Soiree House is not responsible for:
•Transaction failures caused by third-party platforms
•Processing delays
•Additional service or convenience fees charged by those platforms
Such fees are typically non-refundable, even if a refund is issued for the base ticket price.
7. FORCE MAJEURE
7.1 The Organiser shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
•Natural disasters
•Government restrictions
•Public health emergencies
•Power failures or venue-related issues
In such cases, refunds, credits, or transfers will be handled at the Organiser’s discretion
